Engagement Coordinator
Overview
DonorsTrust, the nation’s largest and oldest donor-advised fund provider dedicated to promoting liberty and serving donors who share that mission, seeks a full-time Engagement Coordinator to drive the Outreach Team’s event strategy and assist with other marketing and engagement activities.
DonorsTrust’s donor-advised funds work like charitable savings accounts for donors who are committed to protecting our nation’s constitutional liberties and strengthening civil society through private institutions rather than with government programs. Since our founding in 1999, our client donors have recommended over $2 billion in grants to more than 3,000 civic and liberty-oriented charities. DonorsTrust currently holds over $1.3 billion in assets, primarily allocated to our donor-advised fund accounts. DonorsTrust has a lively and boisterous office with great Outreach, Grants, and Accounting teams.
The Engagement Coordinator will report directly to the Vice President and will oversee and coordinate the DonorsTrust Outreach Team’s event strategy. The Outreach Team sponsors and attends a wide variety of events across the country as part of our marketing and engagement strategy. Increasingly, DonorsTrust hosts its own events (both in-person and virtual) to connect with existing clients and attract new prospects. In addition to overseeing and coordinating the events, the Engagement Coordinator will play a role in our broader marketing and engagement efforts, such as building and sending newsletters and emails, graphic design, donor research, and/or other tasks as needed and based on the skills of the new employee.
DonorsTrust is a small office — about 15 people — but we always aim to be a world-class organization helping donors have an impact with their philanthropy.
Qualified candidates should submit a résumé and a cover letter demonstrating their interest in the position and DonorsTrust’s mission.
